Weekly Photo Challenge: Comunity

This week, in a post created specifically for this challenge, show us community, and interpret it any way you please!

During the winter the salt marshes of North Norfolk is home to a large community of Brent Geese that have spent the breeding season in the Arctic. Brent geese fly in long low wavering lines. The sight and noise of them flying overhead is breath-taking.

  1. How strange that you should post this today Jude. I saw an almost identical flock of geese, making a real racket, flying North over Beetley Meadows, this very afternoon. Great idea, and well realised for the subject in hand.
    Regards as always, Pete. x

    • Thanks Pete – the close-up wasn’t too sharp but I loved the shapes so converted it into a pencil drawing. It would look lovely as fabric for a cushion. I’ve already had one person who quite fancied it as a poster on her wall, but the quality isn’t good enough to print large.

    • No Zen, the second photo was taken when the geese flew directly overhead so were much closer to me, they are very fast though so although I got a shot of them, it wasn’t very clear – hence the art work 🙂

I'd like to hear your opinion
