This very interesting building is Sezincote in the Cotswolds. It was designed by Samuel Pepys Cockerell in 1805, and is a notable example of Neo-Mughal architecture.

Reminds me of the Palace at Brighton. Similar period, probably. Can’t beat a bit of B+W Jude, nice shots indeed.

I’d never heard of it before I did some research for the Cotswolds holiday – just had to go and see it. It is lovely inside too 🙂

A lovely region Dina – with lots of places to visit in a small area. You’d love it as it is quintessentially English with honey-coloured stone and thatched roofs. Also includes Shakespeare’s country!
