Angels Landing
This week Ailsa is discussing heights, gazing up at tall trees and skyscrapers and wondering to what dizzy heights the rest of us can climb to in Where’s My Backpack?
These two guys were captured scaling the heights of Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park, a 1,488-foot (454 m) tall rock formation. Not somewhere you will find me hanging around 🙂
Goodness! This gives me the heebie jeebies 🙂
Without a zoom lens these guys appeared as pinpricks on the wall – why anyone would want to climb something like this I have no idea!
I like heights. The view from The Petronas Towers, or the top of The Eiffel Tower, I lap it up. Not what these blokes are up to though. That is seriously scary! Nice image Jude, and theme nailed. (Of course…) Regards from Norfolk. Pete. x
Cheers Pete. I’m not a huge fan of heights, though can usually cope with looking at the views (though not down), but I cannot comprehend how this stuff is considered ‘fun’
We love Zion National Park, but you won’t find us scaling the cliff walls! Great shot for the challenge!
It is a wonderful place and one which seems to get little publicity over here (UK) I am so glad I went there. (You won’t get me up those cliffs either, but there are some easy trails that I can do 🙂 )
