A Word a Week Challenge: Mistake

This week the dictionary fell on the word Mistake

This week the dictionary has fallen open at the word MISTAKE.  We all have photos that seem ok when we take the but when downloaded we spot something wrong with it.   So this week we are going to have some fun and the challenge is to show a photo that something is wrong with.

  1. Is it the fingers on the man on the right, or the underexposure of the dark faces? I don’t think it looks like a mistake at all Jude, and it is interesting to see a beach being cleared by ‘sweepers’, the hard way! Regards as always, Pete. x

    • Well it doesn’t look as though anyone else is going to have a guess Pete, so I’ll tell you what the mistake is. The underexposure is due to me not taking enough care during the conversion to B&W, I could sort that out I suppose. No the mistake as I see it is as you spotted. The chap on the right, who looks as though he is putting two fingers up at me, actually I’m not so sure, though I got a bit of a shock when I first saw the image, as I can’t really see where his eyes are focused. He could of course just be picking his nose 😉
      Thanks for joining in xx

    • I think it is a rude gesture meaning he wasn’t too pleased at me photographing him, although he could just have been picking his nose as I can’t really tell from the shot what he is looking at!

I'd like to hear your opinion
