Aberaeron
One of the prettiest towns in Wales where the Regency style houses are fetchingly painted in bright colours from navy, aquamarine and Wedgewood blue to pastel lemon, lilac and rose.

This really looks like a cheerfull place to live…
It is certainly better than the usual grey render that seems to dominate most Welsh towns 🙂
How nice to see traditional houses painted as they would have been originally. It reminds me of terraces in Notting Hill, and Primrose Hill, in London. How lucky you were with the weather too! There can’t be many days when you are able to get those colours against relative brightness. Well done Jude, a very nice set. Regards from a warm (yet rain threatening…) Norfolk. Pete. x
We were only there for a couple of days, and this was the only one we saw the sun!!
(a very wet Ludlow, and it is the food festival this weekend and I was looking forward to getting some photos, oh well, we’ll see what tomorrow brings)
xx
Colorful and pretty indeed! Great photos!
Thank you Angela 🙂
I love it when houses are painted all different colors! These are so pretty! 🙂
It does make the town look very charming!
beautiful, peaceful, multicoloured and very Welsh.
indeed 🙂
Oh, I adore these! They are all great.
Thank you 🙂
Wales is such a beautiful country and you caught some of the not-green colors so beautifully. I’d love to visit again.
