A Word a Week Challenge: Square

This week the dictionary fell on the word Square

See Sue’s  A Word in Your Ear  to join in the challenge

Looking at Sue’s photos of Seville and the plazas there immediately brought to mind the intricate mosaic patterns of the pavements and SQUARES (or Praco) of Portugal. These pictures are from the historic Belem not far from Lisbon where you can visit the Belem Tower and  Jeronimos Monastery.

    • The mosaics are wonderful! More here and here. And Wales was great – didn’t even rain until we got back to Ludlow! It is very slow travel in these parts though, but such wonderful scenery – hills, valleys and mountains – so beautiful I didn’t even mind being stuck behind a ‘trucktor’ or two 😉

I'd like to hear your opinion
