A Modern door, a Medieval door and lots of Georgian doors…
all taken one afternoon walking around Ludlow, Shropshire a town which has a large number of Georgian and Medieval buildings.

In this instance I think the main feature photo actually looks better in the original colour, this is why:

Mmm… I agree, some things are better in colour and these doors certainly are.

Great collection of doors Jude and thanks for taking part in the challenge hon. Unfortunately I had to delete the reblog entry as the coloured doors showed up first and that would have confused everyone. LOL! Those coloured doors are interesting for sure. 😀

I agree that the modern doors worked better in colour, though I do think that older doors lend themselves well to B+W. If you ever get to Bath, they have some very impressive doors there, that I remember photographing in the early 1980’s. Regards, Pete. x
I don’t think they are modern as they are wooden doors on old cottages – I particularly like the fact that they are a mirror image of each other!
