This is my favourite photo from the group. Although not sharp all the way through the shot, I like the composition, and feel it gives a good idea of the age of the building. Perhaps it is because it was shot at f/4. I would have gone for a much smaller aperture, f/16 or more, but you may not have had the light for the length of shutter speed that would be required.

You are very knowledgeable Pete. I will have to look up your photo blog, though I have an inkling I have read it – you used film a lot didn’t you? You should move onto digital, it’s a great medium, though I do have to get out of auto mode and use a tripod more often too. The light wasn’t good yesterday so it would have been tricky without a tripod. Thanks for taking the trouble to comment – much appreciated 🙂
