  1. The wide angle necessary to include the whole facade has resulted in the shot appearing lop-sided, with a very slight convergence of the verticals. This is common with wide angle shots, and very difficult to avoid. So, I find the shot on the left more pleasing, though they are both nice representations of the old ruins.

    • You are right, it is lop-sided, I noticed that, but was too tired to load up Elements and straighten the photo, I was hoping no-one would notice!! And you always get some distortion when trying to get the whole height of a building in. It is something I used to hate, but now I’m happy to live with it 😉
