A boulder reflected in mirror lake, Yosemite valley. February 2012.
The Mirror lake, where stars and mountains view,
The stillness of their grandeur, and the hue.
Imperishably pure beyond all things below,
Traced in the crystal wave of cold Nevada’s snow.

THIS WEEK, IN A POST CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHOW US AN IMAGE THAT SAYS REFLECTION.
I have blogged about Yosemite before; it is a place where I felt the opportunity to reflect on life. It seems appropriate to use this image for this week’s photo challenge.
Reflections… I love reflections 🙂
So do I. There is something so magical about crystal clear, still water.
I agree. I took these last summer, when the Tagus was still, which doesn’t happen very often:

They are beautiful. I love living near water. Though I’d much prefer the coast to a river, you don’t often get reflections on the coast.
Love the shot and cudos on the B&W treatment. Perfect choice
Thanks Tina. The first photo that came to mind!
