A country walk in February.
Looking back at Ludlow castle
Only 5 more miles to go.
A lovely large oak tree
newly born calf and her Mum.
Lots of snowdrops in the hedgerows
A quick glance south over to Mortimer Forest.
I love the structure of trees in winter.
…and the ploughed earth. Such textures to be found in nature.
Oakly Park Lodge House
Hill Halton farm house
More trees in silhouette
Sunshine and shadows
Getting close to sunset now
Golden evening light
Long evening shadows. Almost home.
An Interesting challenge this week from the Daily Post, and a chance for me to play around with the gallery mosaics. Decided to go with a very recent walk from my home town Ludlow through to Halton Priors. A delightful 7 mile circular countryside walk with lovely views over the Shropshire countryside.
See my Travel Words blog for another walk around this lovely south Shropshire town, in words.
I may well have a go at doing this challenge again over the weekend – see how things go!
