In January 2010 Surrey was hit by a very unusual snowstorm. The second one in a couple of months and one which brought the little Georgian market town of Haslemere to a complete standstill. With no traffic and no trains the air was eerily quiet and in the hush of the silently falling snow I took the opportunity to capture some of the scenes on camera. This caught my eye because of the vibrant bright orange coat which the lady was wearing which stands out amongst the predominantly black and white landscape.
I often spend hours colour popping in Photoshop to achieve this effect. Not in this photo though 🙂
